On the night of September 26, 2014, forty-three students from the Normal Rural de Ayotzinapa disappeared from the face of the Earth in Iguala, Guerrero. The insistence of the parents, the role of the media and the indignation of civil society, both national and international, forced the Mexican State to recognize the disappearances and to act.
